We had the pleasure of going out to Jasper, Georgia a few weeks ago for The Barn at Tatum Acres Open House! As far as barn wedding venues go, you really can’t beat the charm of this recently-painted-white barn with huge doors overlooking the North Georgia Mountains!
Lovely Wedding Venue
Peacefully situated on 75 acres, Tatum Acres offers so much to couples looking for a gorgeous wedding venue within an hour of Atlanta! With dedicated areas for an outdoor ceremony, porch cocktail hour, barn reception and even a bridal prep area upstairs, this venue is so accommodating and versatile!
Debbie Ley is the sweetest and her team will undoubtedly take good care of you. We first had the chance to encounter Debbie’s dedication when we participated at a styled shoot last summer at her other venue, The Corner District. It was so great to finally meet her in person! She's so gracious!!
We’re also especially glad we had the chance to capture the open house as this season marks the start of a new relationship between The Barn at Tatum Acres and The Perfect Palette! Chrissy Ott, founder of The Perfect Palette, is an international wedding blogger passionate about color + helping couples design the wedding of their dreams. They have now partnered to offer Perfect Palette Weddings exclusive to Tatum Acres! Couples are able to select from perfectly-styled wedding designs, or work closely with Chrissy to create a unique vision for their once-in-a-lifetime day.
Awesome North GA Vendors
For the open house, attendees were able to view three of these designs: Southwest Inspired, Modern Elegance, and Romantic Berry Tones. Heather of Stems Atlanta designed gorgeous arrangements using flowers sourced by Bloominous. Brides were also able to talk to B. Young Beauty about their hair and makeup needs and view Lauren Rae Photography samples! Dickey’s BBQ shared what a mashed potato bar could look (and taste!) like for your reception and Cake Envy had five cakes on display. Natalie offered champagne and strawberry cheesecake wedding cake samples that honestly had us drooling even days after the event.
As always, it was such a pleasure to work alongside such fantastic wedding vendors and it makes us feel grateful we live in such a great state!
