Hurricane Irma may have pushed back this styled shoot by a week but it did not stop everyone’s creative juices from overflowing! Michelle Carlton of Just Styling had asked us a couple months prior to be the exclusive videographers for her adventurous and metropolitan vision. Needless to say, our work felt pretty easy since we had such a rad couple! Kelsey, the beautiful bride, is a highly skilled violinist (in addition to a super talented photographer). Her real life husband, Ryan, was so down-to-earth and fun to be around and made the film even cooler with his edgy motorcycle.
The sweeping skyline views of Midtown and Downtown Atlanta provided the perfect backdrop and inside Upstairs Atlanta, we were so inspired by the rustic charm that once belonged to Eastman Kodak’s film processing plant.
And no styled shoot would be complete without amazing delicious food and modern custom cocktails! This allowed us to film an epic bar scene as well as a classy and bountiful feast.
In terms of decor and production design, the floral arrangements from JoBeth Martin with Righteous Oaks Florals were truly some of the best we’ve ever seen and really helped tie the space together! Working alongside Amanda Duke Photography, we were able to capture the couple effortlessly. This was our last styled shoot from the summer and it was a great one to end with until next year!
